“Bullies tear others down. Leaders life others up.” Jennifer Henczel
It was pink shirt day this past week and yet as we try to encourage our youth, there are still adults who behave as bullies… with all the available information, they still let themselves be ruled by excuses, rather than higher reasoning, compassion and emotional intelligence.
When a person takes their focus off of their own life to bully and threaten others, it means they’re unclear and insecure about their own vision and gifts.
Changing the world is not about creating more followers, it’s about creating more leaders. For this reason, I’ve created a movement of leaders empowering leaders. People supporting people. It’s not about quantity, but quality.
My journey has been difficult, but I own it. I let my reasons be stronger than my excuses. I know my gifts. I’ve created something from nothing, using creativity and integrity, and that’s what I’ll continue doing.
There are some who are threatened by that approach and resort to childish bullying. Haters will be haters. They don’t realize that they only embarrass themselves. Their hate only reflects on them, not the person they’re bullying. They lack the ability to be original and are easily threatened by other’s achievements.
People with old mindsets and methods will continue to choose hate and competition over collaboration.
I love myself, what I do, how I help others and how I enrich the community with meaningful service from my heart.
